ENGINEERED QUARTZ

Engineered Quartz is incredibly popular with interior designers and homeowners for several reasons. For example, engineered quartz is durable and stain resistant, it is available in nearly every color imaginable, and it offers consistency in both color and pattern.

Engineered quartz is composed of 93% ground engineered quartz (a natural hard mineral) and 7% resins, polymers and pigments by weight. In terms of volume it is67% engineered quartz and 33% resins.

It is important to note that engineered quartz cannot withstand extreme temperatures, so we strongly suggest to use hot pads and trivets to avoid cracking. Otherwise, for less worry with your countertops, choose a natural stone such as granite or engineered quartzite.
